Ugghhhu! It's been weirdly cold over here in North Carolina the last two weeks. We are getting lots of snow which is pretty unheard of in these parts. The schools have been closed for almost two whole weeks! I'm starting to go a little loopy being stuck inside. I am dreaming of warmer weather so I can wear dresses and cute things again. I have very limited cute winter clothes because it doesn't get very cold here usually. I miss being cuuuute. *sobbing*

 But just because I can't go outside in dresses doesn't mean I can't play dress up inside! Here is the next installment of my In the Name of the Moon series with Living Dead Clothing's Sailor Scout skater dresses! Today's look is SAILOR MARS! Channeling Rei's fire powers to melt all this snow and get NC warm and toasty again!! huhuhu

Kawaii Snowy Bear Daily Style Post

Hi guys!! Oh goodness, it has been FOREVER. Slacking over here. Oops!!!

But today we had our first snow day of the season!! Where I live, it hardly gets cold enough for snow, so when it does snow, everyone gets really excited about it! I have had this fuzzy bear coord for a long time with no where to wear it because it just doesn't usually get cold enough here.  So when I woke up to snow lightly covering everything this morning, I knew exactly what I would be wearing today!!

I know someone will say something about me wearing shorts in the snow... but yall. This jacket/wig/hood combo was so hot, I was sweating. Different climates, people.

Other than spending time relaxing and visiting family, I have been spending the majority of my time creating new content for my YouTube channel. I get sooooo many requests from people wanting more and more and more videos, so I am trying to make them faster and faster. Since I last updated this blog at the beginning of December, I have released 5 new videos!

I have also opened up a brand new merch shop that has t-shirts and hoodies based on some of my most popular YouTube videos! I had soooo much fun designing these shirts for you guys. I really love to draw and I have always wanted to learn how to draw in Photoshop, so what better time to learn?? I watched a YouTube video about how to draw Kirby (lol) and went from there! The first thing I ever drew in Photoshop is now my Alexa Poletti KAWAII Shirt!~ There are now four shirt designs available in my shop here: www.alexapoletti.spreadshirt.com

Hmm... what else?? I wish I had more style posts for you, but I never really leave my house in the winter because I HATE being cold, heheh... But there will be more coming soon. I am collaborating with DressLink on an upcoming winter casual style video that will be out at the end of the week, so stay tuned for that!

Pixie Bunny Pinky Bun Bun Daily Style Post!

Today's Daily Style Post is all about Pixie Bunny! One of my cutest best buddies, Pixie Late, is not only a style genius, fashion blogger, and GLW muse, she also has her own shop called Pixie Bunny!! When I attended Hyper Japan over the summer, I got to see her shop's entire amazing stock and I just HAD to get this Nautical Breeze chiffon seifuku dress in Dolly from her shop. I wear it ALL the time XD I'm honestly surprised it has taken me this long to make a Daily Style post about it hehehe :3 The dress is sheer, so you can style it any way you want! You can put prints underneath it or solids to completely change the look! Here is an example of Pixie Late wearing the Orchid version of Nautical Breeze with a kitty shirt underneath:

Unfortunately, the Nautical Breeze collection was a Summer 2014 collection and is no longer available :( :( :(((( *cries* BUT Pixie Bunny will be coming out with a new design in January! So there is always that to look forward to! :3
